Aeration

This aeration system uses the G-O Diffuser and Depth-Charge. The Depth-Charge is placed above the G-O Diffuser and gives additional shearing and distribution of the air bubbles.

Process Aeration
Pascagoula,MS. This was a unique system, it had to be
pre-assembled out of the tank and lowered into the tank by crane
because the tank could not be drained.

Deep Tank Draft Tube Aeration

The sludge holding tank is converted to
aerobic from anaerobic; and because they
expected a great variation in water level,
a Two Stage System was provided.
When the water level is at the highest level,
the aeration system using the G-O Diffuser,
Draft Tube, and Depth-Charge is in operation.
As the water level is lowered to a fixed point at
the Depth-Charge, the butterfly valves are
activated by probes, and simultaneously,
one valve is open, the other is closed; and
the system without the Draft Tube is in operation.
With this system, we can aerate a 29'-0" deep tank with a 6# blower.
Floating Aeration

This is a deep aerated lagoon system. Floating aerators did not provide enough D.O. The lagoon had to stay in operation and could not be drained so a floating system was provided to give the lagoon the additional D.O. as required.
